Creating New Absence Requests

To submit a new absence request from the Employee Landing Page:

  1. Select Create New Time Off Request from the upper right portion of the form header.
    The PTO Entry Modal is displayed. The employee’s name and number is defaulted in and the request status is defaulted to Requested.
  2. Specify this information:
    • The date or dates for the absence.
    • The absence code.
    • The type of absence such as, Full day or Partial Day. For Partial Day, provide the start and end time of the absence.
    • Provide any required comments.
  3. Select Submit.
    The PTO Entry Modal form is closed and the application displays the Employee Time off Overview form. The newly requested time off must display in the calendar array as Pending and the hours of the request must be included in the Requested balance in the balances array.
