Creating New Absence Requests

To submit a new absence request from the Supervisor Landing Page:

  1. Select Create New Time Off Request from the upper right portion of the form header.
    The PTO Entry Modal is displayed. The request status defaults to Approved status.
  2. Specify this information:
    • The employee number
    • The date or dates for the absence
    • The absence code to be used for the absence
    • The type of absence that is requested, Full day or Partial Day
    • For Partial Day, enter the start and end time of the absence
    • Enter any comments the supervisor wishes to make
    • Select Submit
    Note: The PTO Entry Modal form is closed and the Supervisor Time off Overview form is displayed. The newly requested time off must be displayed in the calendar array as Approved.
