Configuring Icons

Use the Icons form to link an image to a specific icon. You can also translate the name of a transaction profile for the selected language code.

  1. Open the Icons form.
  2. Click New to add a new icon.
  3. Specify this information:
    ERP Type
    The ERP to which you require to link an image to the icon. Select Infor-M3.
    Icon Id
    A unique ID of the icon.
    Note: This field cannot be modified for an existing icon.
    Image Id
    An image linked to an icon by selecting an image from the list.
    Note: The image ID is defaulted to FlatOne.png for the transactions in Factory Track.
    Icon Label
    A label name for the icon. For example, Move.
    Action Type
    The type of action related to the icon. Possible value:
    • Menu
    • Transaction Profile
  4. Specify this information on the Profile tab:
    Transaction Name
    A transaction name to be associated with the icon. For example, Move.
    Profile
    A transaction profile to be associated with the icon.
  5. Select an icon menu name on the Menu tab. Icon menus are configured in the Menu Maintenance form.
  6. Specify this information on the Translation tab:
    Language Code
    Any applicable language code that is specified in the Users form.
    Translation
    Corresponding translation of the associated Icon label.
    Note: This field is displayed only if the icon label has a value and the action type is set to either Transaction Profile or Menu and the System Record check box is not selected.
  7. Click Save.
