Using the PTO Entry Modal in the New Supervisor User Experience
The PTO Entry Modal is the new user experience absence request form. This is used to submit absence requests. Employees can enter the form from the Employee Landing Page or from the Employee Time Off Overview form. The PTO Entry Modal may be opened in the following ways:
- + New Time Off button in the Supervisor Landing Page header
- Opens a new PTO Entry Modal
- Employee Number field blank
- All other fields are editable
- Hyperlink on the Report Date in the My Time Off panel of the Supervisor Landing
Page
- Defaults Employee Name and number and all the absence request related information into the PTO Entry Modal form
- All fields are editable
- + New Time Off button in the Employee Time Off Overview header
- Opens a new PTO Entry Modal
- Defaults Employee Number
- All other fields are editable
- Status defaults to Approved
- Click on a blank area on a day in the calendar array on the Employee Time Off Overview

- Employee Number and selected report date default in
- Request Type defaults to Full Day
- If type changed to Partial absence start and end fields are displayed
- Request Status defaults to Requested
- Supervisor selects Absence code and enters remarks.
- Remarks display as supervisor remarks
- Click on absence request on a day in the calendar array on the Employee Time Off Overview
