Using Timesheets in the New Supervisor Experience

The Timesheet provides detailed description of the hours the employee has worked during the pay period. The Timesheet displays the following information:

Header:

  • Employee Name and Employee Number
  • Start and End Dates of the Timesheet with Previous and Next scroll options
  • Timesheet Status:
    • Displays the lowest daily status found in the timesheet
    • Status order from lowest to highest, Error, Exception, Working, Pending, Open, Ready, Processed
  • Submit button
    • Signs hours and puts timesheet into a Pending Status
  • Exit button
    • Returns to prior form
  • Total Timesheet hours and hours categorization
    • For multiple week timesheets a Weekly Timesheet hours and hours categorization is displayed
  • Hours Type Pie chart breaks down the percentage of time spent on direct, indirect, break, absent and gap hours

Daily Detail:

  • Each day of the week displays activity tiles that relates the order number and duration of each labor record entered for that date.
    • Attendance Transactions is displayed for Clocked employees
    • Click on the tiles to edit the transaction
  • Each daily column header contains a “+” link that opens the Time Entry Modal to create a new labor record
  • Each daily column header contains a status indicator that indicates the report date’s status.
    • Displays the lowest status found in the daily column
  • Each daily column header displays the number of hours worked on that day

Activity Summary:

Displays the detail of each labor record

  • The Order Type
  • The Report Date
  • Order#/Op, Project#/Activity, Service Order#/Activity, Indirect Task Code
    • Varies based on Order Type
  • Routing Information/Description
    • Varies based on Order Type
  • Transaction duration
    • For start and stop time for clocked hours and partial day absences
  • Error Messages
  • ERP Posted indicator
    • Open when unposted, checkmark displayed when posted
  • Edit and Delete buttons
    • Opens Time Entry Modal
