Connecting to the database

  1. In the tool, specify the connection information for the all-in-one database that you want to validate and remediate for Single Version or cloud readiness:
    • Select the Server Name from the list of all SQL Server instances in your network.
    • Select the Database Name from the list of all databases on the specified server.
    • Select either Windows Authentication or SQL Server Authentication.
    • If you specified SQL Server Authentication, specify the Username, which must be a system administrator user for the database, and Password.
  2. Click Test Connection.
    If the connection is validated, the Connected check box is selected and a success message is displayed.
