Tasks

Use the Tasks form to configure tasks that employees perform during a shift. Tasks account for time when an employee is present, but not performing an activity that is directly related to production, such as time spent at a safety meeting or performing maintenance duties.

You can designate tasks as indirect tasks or general tasks. Hours that are reported for an indirect task are reported to your system in a task code. Hours that are reported for a general task are reported to an order or project ERP linked to the general task. General tasks can only be performed by employees who are configured to use elapsed time.
