Reduction set data sync processing for updates to existing shifts

Infor Factory track retrieves shift code details from CSI as part of data synchronization to update the basic Factory Track shift data.

Factory Track reviews the lunch and assigned Reduction Set ID details for each defined shift day. Possible scenarios:

  • If the CSI shift lunch time matches the existing Factory Track Reduction Set shift lunch time defined, update is not required.
  • If the CSI shift lunch time is different from the existing Factory Track Reduction Set shift lunch time defined and no existing Reduction Set associated to the Factory Track Shift exists with the same lunch time, a new Reduction Set is created.
  • The same break records are created if the previously assigned Reduction Set has associated breaks and the start and end time of the breaks are within the updated day’s Shift Start and Shift End time, not conflicting with the lunch period.
  • If the break start or end times are outside the downloaded shift start and end times, the shift is marked as Finished with Errors in the results section of the Data Sync Control form. The can view and correct the record.
