Counting items using cycle counting
- Select Inventory Count > Cycle Count.

Specify or review this information:
- Whse
- The code of the warehouse where the items are stored.
- Empl ID
- The employee number assigned to you.
- Mode
- The criteria to count items. Possible values:
- Full
- UnCounted
- Loc
- The location used for processing the cycle count
transaction. Note: The Invalid Location message is displayed if the selected location is not associated with cycle count records.
- Item
- The item to be counted. Note: An Invalid Item message is displayed if the selected location is not associated with cycle count records.
- Lot
- The lot number associated with the item. This
field is displayed only if the Item field is blank or the specified item is lot
controlled.Note: An Invalid Lot message is displayed if the selected location is not associated with cycle count records.
- Click Next.

Select the location and the item in the screen that is displayed.
Note: You can specify the lot number, if required.
- Click Next.

Specify this information in the screen that is displayed:
- Loc
- The location used for processing the cycle count
transaction. Note: This field is available only if the Input Loc parameter is selected for this transaction.
- Item
- If applicable, scan the item number to confirm you are counting the correct item. This field is only available if the Input Item parameter is selected for this transaction.
- Lot
- If applicable, scan the lot number to confirm you are counting the correct lot. This field is only available if the Input Lot parameter is selected for this transaction.
- Qty
- Specify the counted quantity.
- Click Process.

Specify or review this information if the item is serialized:
- Cycle Count Records
- The total number of cycle count records for the serialized items from the item lot location.
- Records Counted
- The number of cycle count records counted for the serialized item lot location.
- Serial
- The serial number for each item.
- Scanned
- The total quantity of serial numbers to scan.
- Count Completed for Item/Lot/Location
- The option to indicate if the counting process is completed.
Possible options:
- Yes
- No
Note: The Process option is enabled, only when you set this field to Yes.

Click Next.
Note: This option is displayed only if the selected item is serial-controlled. You must scan or select the serial number for each item, in the Serial field. The Scanned field displays the count of the serial numbers you have scanned. You can also click Show List to view the available serial numbers, or click Clear List to clear all the scanned serial numbers.

Click Process after
scanning the required quantity of serial numbers.
Note: The application prints the labels if the transaction is configured to print labels automatically. Else, the Label Printing screen is displayed wherein you can specify the required details.
