Recording Test Results

  1. Select Miscellaneous > QCS Test Record.The QCS Test Record form is displayed.
  2. Specify this information:
    Rcvr
    The name of the receiver. You can use a customer, supplier, or WIP tag as a receiver.
    Ord Type
    The order type.
    Lot Size
    The lot size.
    Sample Size
    The sample size.
    Inspector
    The name of the inspector.
    QC Lot
    The QC Lot code.
  3. Click Batch Test to record results for all the tests.
  4. Select a test from the list on the Batch tab and click Select, if Batch Test is selected. Specify this information for the test:
    Minimum
    The minimum test result value.
    Maximum
    The maximum test result value.
    Nominal
    The nominal test result value.
    Qty Tested
    The quantity that was tested.
    Qty Failed
    The quantity that have failed.
    Gage
    The code of the gage.
  5. Select the Pass check box if the test is passed.
  6. Select the Gage Expire check box if the gage has expired.
  7. Select the Completed check box if the test is completed.
  8. Click Each Test option to record results for each test individually.
  9. Select a test from the list on the Each tab and click Select, if Each Test is selected. Specify this information for the test:
    Actual Value
    The test value.
    Actual Gage
    The gage value.
  10. Select the Pass check box if the test was passed.
  11. Select the Piece Complete check box if testing is completed for this piece.
  12. Click Process to record the test results.
  13. Click Close to close the form without recording test results.
