Defining Data Domains

  1. Select Master Explorer > Modules > Configuration > Development > Data Domains. The Data Domains form is displayed.
  2. Click New. A new line is added to the grid.
    Note: You can select the existing data domain from the grid to modify the required fields.
  3. Specify this information:
    ERP Type
    The ERP type applicable for the data domain.
    Data Domain
    The name of the domain to which this entry applies.
    Data Type
    The data type to be used. Possible values:
    • String
    • Date
    • Time
    • Date-Time
    • Boolean
    • Integer
    • Decimal
    Data Size
    The length of the string or integer.
    Digits Before Decimal
    The number of digits that is displayed before the decimal.
    Digits After Decimal
    The number of digits that is displayed after the decimal.
    Auto Expand
    Select this check box if the input must be expanded to fit the field definition.
    Convert to Uppercase
    Select this check box to convert the specified string characters to uppercase.
  4. Click Save.
