Specifying DataView setup information - Report Options tab

When you set up a predefined DataView, you can specify this information on the Report Options tab of the DataViews Setup form.

Fields/Options Description
Report Orientation Select either the Portrait or Landscape orientation.
Max Cap Exceeded Notification Type A notification is displayed when the results of a report is limited due to the maximum record cap that is set at either the process default or at the farm level.
Note: This option is only visible when you enable the FarmReportMaxCapExceededNotification setting in the Configuration Manager.

Select the type of notification:

  • None: No notification.
  • Warning: The default value. A warning message is displayed on the report footer region.
  • Error: The generation of the report fails and the error information is displayed on the Background Task History form.
    Note: For sub-reports, the error is returned to the parent report and is displayed inline in place of the sub-report content.

 Because the predefined report output is first determined by a temporary Report-type form layout, these settings are all the same as those used for the Report-type form.
