Defining report options
To define options for specific users and specific reports, use this procedure:
- Open the Report Options form.
- Initiate a new record, or select the report to edit.

Provide this information:
- User
- Specify the user ID to which these report
options are to apply.
This field defaults to your user ID, but you can change it.
- Task Name
- Specify the name of the report to which these options are to apply.
- Output Format
- Select the format to use for report outputs.
If you select the Printer or Cloud Print output format, the Printer Name field is enabled.
Note: This option overrides the format specified in the Intranets form. - Printer Name
- Specify the name of the printer to use when
the designated user submits the specified report. Note: In an on-premises environment, this printer must be defined as a network printer and must be configured on the server where TaskMan is installed. Also, the user ID set up as the owner of the TaskMan service must have print privileges for each printer defined here.For a Multi-Tenant Cloud (MTC) environment, the printer must be registered in Infor Document Management (IDM).Note: In a MTC environment, application developers can add a task parameter on form events to specify an IDM Enterprise printer, to print form reports that are submitted as background tasks. You can define this parameter by editing a form report in the Web Designer. Use this feature only on form events that are assigned with a Response > Type of Run Background Task.

Alternatively, on the Event Actions form, you can use the TaskProfileEnterprisePrinter parameter to specify an IDM Enterprise printer for task events. If no IDM Enterprise printer is defined, the report is printed using the default settings.
- Paper Size
- Select the size of paper to use when printing the report output.
- Report Theme
- Optionally, select the theme to use when generating the report.
- Output Directory
- Specify an output directory for a specific
report output profile.Note: This option overrides both the TaskMan Path field on the Intranets form and the Report Output Folder field, as specified on the Sites form.
- Email Notification
- Designate whether an email notification is to be sent to this user whenever this report is processed and generated (Yes) or not (No).
- Attach Report
- Designate whether a report is to be attached to the email notification (Yes) or not (No).
- Auto View
- To have printed reports display automatically in either a web browser or in the Report Viewer form, select this option.
- Save.
