Configuring Global Parameters
Use this form to configure parameters that apply to all the Infor Factory Track transactions and forms.
- Select Configuration > Parameters > Global Parameters. The Global Parameters form is displayed.

Set these parameters,
- Time and Attendance Option
- Select one of these parameters to implement the
Time and Attendance functionality.
- Time Track is implemented: Select this check box
to enable the Time Track functionality. Note: This parameter changes the operation of the application, significantly. You must select this parameter to implement Time and Attendance option when the Time Track functionality is implemented.
- Infor CloudSuite Industrial Time and Attendance
Implemented: Select this check box to enable the Time
and Attendance option for Infor CloudSuite Industrial. Note: The search logic is used to default the task code when an indirect task is created,
- The task code specified in the Factory Track Employees Form’s Indirect Task.
- The task code specified in the CSI Attendance General Indirect Code.
- None: Select this check box if both Shop Floor and Time Track are not implemented.
- Time Track is implemented: Select this check box
to enable the Time Track functionality.
- FT App in Use
- Select this check box to enable the usage of
android Factory Track App application.Note: This parameter is displayed only if the Factory Track App check box is selected on the Feature Management form.
- Allow Automatic Wset Header Creation
- Select this check box to enable the automatic
creation of workset header. Note: This parameter is displayed only if the Workset Enhancements check box is selected on the Feature Management form.
- Defer Processing of Unposted Shop Floor Transactions
- Select this check box to defer the processing of
Unposted shop floor transactions.
This enables the shop floor operator to continue with the next shop floor task without waiting for the completion of task in CSI.
Note: This parameter is displayed only if the Defer Processing of Unposted Shop Floor Transactions check box is selected on the Feature Management form. - Stop User For Labor Backflush Operation
- Select this check box to avoid posting of labor backflush transactions.
- Auto Open Work Center Form when Job active
- Select this check box to enable the user to view the active job on the Work Center form as soon as the user logs on to the application.
- Added Item Stock Room Location Permanent
- Select this check box to retain permanent inventory transaction records. In case all the items are moved out of a location, the permanent inventory transactions ensure that the link between the location and the items is retained.. The location remains the stock location for that item.
- Allow Generic Employee to End Session
- Select this check box to allow employees who log in as Generic Users to end the session.
- Allow Multiuse of Resource
- Select this check box to run multiple jobs for a resource, at the same time.
- Allow Negative Inventory
- Select this check box to allow negative inventory .
- Allow Transaction if CycleCount
- Select this check box to allow users to process transactions involving items that are linked to a cycle count order. Clear this check box to prevent users from processing transactions related to cycle count items, until the cycle count is completed.
- Combine Labor and Quantity
- Select this check box to post the values of labor and quantity in CSI.
- Containers In Use
- Select this check box to use containers.
- CSI Attendance General Indirect Code
- Specify the general indirect code that is used to create indirect tasks in case indirect code is not specified for the user. For example, if the employee does not have an indirect code configured when creating a gap record, FT uses this general indirect code.
- Display Resource ID
- Select this check box to display the Resource ID field on the Shop Floor
transaction forms. Note: This parameter is applicable for Time Track transaction forms.
- JobResource Required
- Select this check box to enable employees to specify a job
resource. Note: This parameter is displayed only if the Display Resource ID check box is selected.
- Allow Job Resources Only
- Select this check box to display the list of resources defined for
a job. If this check box is cleared, all valid resources are displayed.Note: This parameter is displayed only if the Display Resource ID check box is selected.
- Elapsed Time Cut Off
- Specify the number of hours a job can run before it is marked as an error record. This parameter can be used to prevent excessive hours being clocked for a job, in case an employee forgets to stop the job.
- Enter Lot Attributes ( N-Never, A-Always, K-Ask)
- Specify the option to enter the lot attributes when a new lot is created.
- Generate Serials
- Select this check box to enable automatic generation of serial numbers.
- List Zero Inventory Records
- Select this check box to display inventory records with zero quantity.
- Maximum Decimal Length
- Specify the maximum number of decimal values allowed in the Quantity fields. Values that exceed this decimal limit are rounded. For example, if 3 is specified, a value of 2.44571 is rounded to 2.446.
- SF Quantity Format
- Specify the maximum number of decimal values allowed in the
Quantity fields on the
Shop Floor forms.Note: This parameter is applicable only if the Shop Floor functionality is implemented.
- PIN Required
- Select this check box to make specifying PIN number mandatory, when signing in as a generic user.
- Process Labor
- Select this check box to process labor transactions for the selected ERP.
- Supplier Lot is ERP Lot
- Select this check box to enable the automatic usage of supplier lot number as the lot number of the user.
- Enable QC CoC Inventory Check
- Select this check box to enable the inventory check.Note: This parameter is displayed only if the CoC quantity validation in shipping on the Feature Management form.
- Restrict Movement For Pick List Serials
- Select this check box to restrict the consumption of serials that are already picked for a pick list.
- Click Save.
