Synchronization of Order Data

The order data from the integrated ERP such as LN and CSI can be synchronized with Infor Factory Track. The LN order includes data such as production operations, service order activities, and project activities. However, CSI order includes data such as job operations, service order lines and operation, projects.

The order data can be synchronized from ERP to Infor Factory Track in three ways:

  • Complete Regen (extracting all open orders from ERP to Factory Track) of all data for the specified data range and type of order.
  • Net change (extracting all orders which have recently changed) of all the data that have been modified recently for the specified data range and the type of order.

For example., if there are 1000 orders and five have been changed in the past hour, the Regen erases the data that was currently in FT and extract the entire 1000. Net-Change leaves the existing data and extract only the five that have changed.

Note: This is only applicable for LN.
  • Individual query called from Infor Factory Track at certain key times (for example. Direct Entry).

The user can select the Size of Extract File in MB parameter on the Transaction Set Maintenance form to ensure that the extracted data is not too large. When Infor Factory track uses the net change way to synchronize the data, the parent record must also be extracted.

Note: If LN is configured for multiple languages, the appropriate descriptions must also be extracted to support languages.
