Viewing the status of jobs

  1. Select Miscellaneous > Job Status. The Job Status form is displayed.
  2. Specify this information to define the job search criteria:
    Job
    The starting and ending job number and a starting and ending suffix.
    Work Center
    The starting and ending work center.
    Operation Start Date
    The date range of the job operation.
    Sort By
    Indicates whether the job is sorted on the basis of work center or jobs. Possible values:
    • Job
    • Work Center

    To display job operations matching the specified search criteria, select the green process option. The job operations are displayed in the Job Status Listing section. This information is displayed for each operation:

    • Job
    • Suffix
    • Item
    • Work Center
    • Operation Start Date
    • Operation Status: Current status of the operation. Possible status:
      • Late:The items are not received on the operation start date.
      • In Process: The operation is in process, an item is received and transactions are not executed for the operation.
      • Ready: An item is received at the operation and transactions are also executed for the operation.
      • Finished: The operation is notified as complete or all the required item quantities are completed.
      • Arriving: The operation date is within one to four days in the future and no items are received at the operation.
      • Today's Target: The quantity that is scheduled to be completed on the current date.
      • Today's Completed: The quantity completed on the current date.
      • Today's Remaining: The remaining quantity that is required be completed to meet the current date target.
      • Today's Efficiency: The percentage that indicates the efficiency of the work center for completing the scheduled production progress, for the current operation on the current date. For more information about efficiency calculations, see Work Center Efficiency Overview.
  3. Click Process to display job operations that matches the specified search criteria.

    The job operations are displayed in the Job Status Listing section. This information is displayed for each operation:

    • Job
    • Suffix
    • Item
    • Work Center
    • Operation Start Date
    • Operation Status: The current status of the operation. Possible values:
      • Late:The items are not received on the operation start date.
      • In Process: The operation is in process, an item is received and transactions are not executed for the operation.
      • Ready: An item is received at the operation and transactions are also executed for the operation.
      • Finished: The operation is notified as complete or all the required item quantities are completed.
      • Arriving: The operation date is one to four days in the future and no items are received at the operation.
      • Today's Target: The quantity that is scheduled to be completed on the current date.
      • Today's Completed: The quantity completed on the current date.

  4. Click Clear to clear the displayed search results and search criteria fields.
  5. Click Print to print the displayed operation information as a report. The information in the report is sorted based on the selection of Job or Work Center in the Sort By section.
  6. Click Visual Dispatch to view the additional information about an operation.
    Note: The Visual Dispatch option is enabled only if the operation records are available to be selected in the Job Status Listing section.
