Viewing documents

  1. Select Miscellaneous > Documents. The Documents form is displayed.
  2. Specify the search criteria in the Filter section, to find the documents.
    Note: If you access this form from the Work Center form, the Job, Suffix, Operation, and Items fields are automatically populated. You can modify these values if needed.

    If you access this form from the Work Center Navigation Home form, select whether to search for documents by job or by item.

  3. Specify some or all of this information:
    Job
    The job number.
    Note: This field is enabled only if Job is selected in the Filter section.
    Suffix
    The job suffix.
    Note: This field is enabled only if Job is selected in the Filter section.
    Operation
    The operation number.
    Note: This field is enabled only if Job is selected in the Filter section.
    Item
    The item number.
    Note: This field is enabled only if Item is selected in the Filter section.
    Revision
    The revision number for the item to only display documents related to that revision number, if required. To display the documents for all revisions of the selected item, this field must be blank.
    Note: This field is enabled if Item is selected in the Filter section and is applicable only for PLM documents.
  4. Click Process to display the documents matching the specified search criteria. The documents are displayed in the Document Listing section.
  5. Select a document from the Document Listing section, and click the View option to view the document. You can view multiple documents at the same time.
  6. Click Refresh to reset the search fields.
  7. Click Close to close the form.
