Registering a Mongoose-based application
If you are an Independent Software Vendor (ISV) building a Mongoose application for resale, you must register your application with Infor, so that we can generate license keys for that application.
If you have purchased Mongoose to build applications for your own use, you are not required to register the applications.
Submit the name of your application and the names of your license modules. For each module, specify its session type and form and IDO names.
For example, if your application has a customer service module designed for users on normal computers, and a field-service module with a set of forms designed for mobile devices in Form-Only mode, you can specify these new license modules:
Module | Session type | Contains these forms and IDOs |
---|---|---|
CustService | Full client | CSCustomers, CSOrders, CSParameters |
FieldService | Web form only | FSCustomers, FSWorkOrders, FSParameters |
If your application has a requirement to restrict the user logins based on the combination of license module and the type of site, you can use the SiteTypeModuleMap table to set up acceptable combinations of site type and license module. A user can only access a site if the site’s “site type” can be used with the license module to which the user is assigned.
You must also provide an addendum to this guide that describes your application’s license modules, so that your end users can request the appropriate modules.
