Unsealing Packages

You can opt to unfreeze shipment lines associated with that package, after unsealing a package.

Sealing is a transaction related to the Packing Icon Menu on LN Warehouse Mobility based and list based menus.

  1. SelectIcon Menu > Packing > Sealing Sealing. The Sealing form is displayed.
    Note: Alternatively, you can also select List Menu.
  2. Specify a value in the Handling Unit field.
    Note: The package must not be loaded
  3. Specify or review this information:
    Handling Unit
    The handling unit of the package .
    Shipment Number
    The shipment number associated with the handling unit.
    Order Number
    The order number associated with the handling unit.
    Packaging Item
    A new packaging item for the package.
    Note: The packaging item that is currently assigned to the package is displayed.
    Seal?(Y/N)
    Indicates whether the package is sealed.
    Children?
    Indicates whether a child package is sealed..
  4. Select Process. You are asked whether to unfreeze the shipment lines associated with the package. To unfreeze these shipment lines, select Yes. To leave them frozen, select No.
