Returning items from Ssaging (Return from Staging)

  1. Select Icon Menu > Outbound Transactions > Return From Staging. The Return From Staging form is displayed.
    Note: Alternatively, you can also use List Menu.
  2. Specify or review this information:
    Warehouse
    The warehouse from which items are returned.
    Stage Location
    The stage location from which items are returned.
    Handling Unit
    The handling unit to be returned.
    Item Number
    The item number of the item to be returned.
    Note: This value is populated when returning an item using Handling Unit.
    Serial Number
    The scanned serial number of item which is using a single serial-in-inventory.
    Note: 
    • This value is populated when returning an item using Handling Unit.
    • This field is displayed if the item is serial-in inventory controlled.
    Lot Number
    The scanned lot number of the item.
    Note: 
    • This value is populated when returning an item using Handling Unit.
    • This field is displayed if the item is lot-in inventory controlled.
    Inventory Date
    The inventory date.
    • This value is populated when returning an item using Handling Unit.
    • This field is displayed if the item is date controlled.
    Free Quantity
    The staged quantity that is available to be returned.
    Quantity
    The quantity returned to inventory.
    Note: This field is not displayed when item is returned using Handling Unit.
    To Location
    The location to which to return the items.
    Note: The files are displayed based on the parameter settings of the Transaction Set Maintenance form for the Returning From Staging transaction.
  3. Click Next.The Handling Unit is displayed when using the handling units and returning a quantity of items from a container that is less than the total quantity
  4. Specify the option in the Add to Another HU field. If you select Yes, scan the handling unit number in the Handling Unit? field.
  5. Specify or review this information on the Serial/Lot Entry form to manually scan serial numbers, or the item needs to be assigned with a lot number:
    Item number
    The item number and description.
    Quantity remaining
    The quantity that needs to be assigned with serial or lot numbers.
    Generate Serials?
    Indicate if the new serial numbers are to be generated for the items. Possible values,
    • Yes: Generate new serial numbers for scanning.
    • No: Scan existing serial numbers.
    Note: This field is displayed only when the items are serial-controlled.
    All Serials?
    Indicates if serial numbers are used for the transaction. Possible values,
    • Yes: Indicate that all serial numbers for this item at the current stock point are being used in the transaction. Avoid scanning of each serial number, individually.
    • No: Scan items one at a time.
    Note: This field is displayed if the item is serial-controlled and transaction is performed using all the items in a stock point.
    Lot Number
    The scanned lot number assigned with the item.
    Note:  This field is available if the item is not serial-controlled and needs to assign a lot number. If the item is serial-controlled, the item lot number is displayed after you scan the first serial number.
    Serial Number
    The scanned serial number.
    Note: This field is displayed if the item is serial-controlled, new serial numbers are not generated, and Yes is not selected in the All Serials? field.
    Quantity
    The quantity to assigned with the specified lot number.
    Note: This field is available if the item is not serial-controlled and lot number is to be assigned.
  6. Click Process. The scanned serial number or lot number is processed. Scan the additional serial numbers, if available. You can click,X to view serial or lot numbers that are scanned or Y to reset and scan all the scanned serial or lot numbers.
