Reporting Elapsed Hours

Select Icon Menu > Labor Transactions > Elapsed Hours. The Elapsed
Hours form is displayed.
Note: Alternatively, you can also use List Menu.
- Scan the employee ID or badge number.
- Select Next.

Specify or review this information:
- Employee
- The employee ID or badge number.
- Hours Today/This Week
- The total number of hours an employee or the team has worked on the current day. Also, the total number of hours for the week is displayed.
- Job Type
- Select the type of job to which you are reporting
labor and, if applicable, quantities.Note: If the user specifies the job type as Production, the application checks if the labor set is backflushed. If the user posts labor to a job where labor is backflushed already, a warning or reject message is prompted. Based on the Backflush Option parameter setting the following types of action is performed:
- If the parameter is set to Warning, the application gives a warning, if the employee tries to start or report time against a backflush job. The employee can choose to override this warning.
- If the parameter is set to Reject, the application gives a rejection message, if the employee tries to start or report time against a backflush job. The employee cannot override this message.
- If the parameter is set to Ignore, the application allows an employee to start or report time against a backflush job without any warning message.
- Order
- The order or project number.
- Operation
- The operation number, activity line, or labor line.
- Task
- The task associated with the job.
- Machine
- The code of machine associated with the job.
- Work Center
- The center in which the work was performed.
- Hourly Labor Type
- The
option used to record the labor hours. Possible values,
- Regular
- Overtime
- Double-time
- Cost Component
- The cost component used for the reported hours.
- Man Hours
- The number of hours an employee has taken to work on the job.
- Machine Hours
- The number of hours a machine is used to complete the job.
Note: The fields in this section are displayed based on the parameter settings of the Transaction Set Maintenance form. - Click Next.

Specify or review this information:
- Employee
- The employee ID or badge number of an employee.
- Hours Today/This Week
- The number of hours that you and, if applicable, your team have worked today is displayed to the left of the slash; the number of hours worked this week is displayed to the right of the slash.
- Job Type
- The job type is displayed.
- Order
- The order or project number is displayed.
- Operation
- If applicable, the operation number, activity line, or labor line is displayed.
- Task
- If applicable, the task is displayed.
- Open Qty
- The total quantity to be completed .
- Qty Completed
- The quantity completed by the employee.
- Qty Rejected
- The number of quantity rejected by the employee.
- Reason Code
- The reason code that indicates the reason for rejection,.
- Complete? (Y/N)
- Indicates
if
the operation, activity line, or labor line is
completed
or
not,
Possible values,
- Y: Indicates all quantities of operation, activity line, or labor line are completed.
- N: Indicates all quantities of operation, activity line, or labor line are not completed.
- Click Process.
