Transferring items from one location to another (Inventory Transfer)

Select Icon Menu > Inventory > Inventory Transfer. The Inventory Transfer form is
displayed.
Note:
- If the item and warehouse has any project pegging, the relevant peg(s) must be specified.
- Alternatively, you can also use List Menu.

Specify or review this information:
- Reference ID
- The
reference ID linked to the item. Note: When this field is specified, the values on the main form are populated.
- From Warehouse
- The warehouse of the item.
- Handling Unit
- The Handling Unit to be transferred, if applicable.
- Item
- The item number which is scanned. The item description and default unit of measure are displayed.
- Serial Number
- The serial number of the single serial-in-inventory item for the transaction.
- From Location
- The
current location of the
item.Note: This field is displayed only if the item is in a location-controlled warehouse.
- Lot Number
- The
scanned lot number. Note: This field is displayed only if the item is lot-controlled.
- Inventory Date
- The
date of inventory. Note: This field is displayed when the item is date-controlled.
- On Hand Qty
- The on-hand item quantity..
- Free Qty
- The item quantity available for transfer.
- Qty To Transfer
- The
quantity of items to
transferred.Note: The default unit of measure is displayed.
- To Warehouse
- The warehouse to which item are transferred.
- To Location
- The
location to which
item
is
transferred.Note: This field is displayed when item is transferred to a location-controlled warehouse.
- Click Process. The specified quantity is transferred when the item is not serial-controlled. The Serial/Lot Entry screen is displayed when the item is serial controlled or item must be assigned with a lot number,

- Item number
- The item number and description .
- Quantity remaining
- The quantity that needs to be assigned with serial or lot numbers.
- Generate Serials?
- Determines
generation of serial numbers. Possible values,
- Yes: Scan new serial numbers for the items,
- No: Scan the existing serial number for the customer.
Note: This field is displayed only if the item is serial-controlled. - All Serials?
- Indicates that serial numbers for the item are associated
with the current stock point, used in the transaction.Note:
- Select Yes to avoid scanning of each serial number.
- This field is displayed only if the item is serial-controlled.
- Lot Number
- The scanned
lot number
assigned
with
the item.
Note:
- This field is displayed when the item is not serial-controlled and needs to be assigned with a lot number.
- When the item is serial-controlled the lot number is displayed while scanning the first serial number.
- Serial Number
- The scanned
serial number.
Note: This field is displayed if item is serial-controlled and Yes is specified in the All Serials? field.
- Quantity

quantity
assigned
to the specified lot number.
Note: This field is available only if the item is not serial-controlled and a lot number is to be assigned..
- Click Process. The scanned serial number or lot number is processed. Scan the additional serial numbers. When all the serial numbers are scanned from the count list, the count quantity is recorded in Infor LN. Click X to view the scanned serial numbers. Click Y to reset and rescan the serial numbers.
