Count Inventory

You can count inventory by item or by location. Count by item to verify the quantity and location of items. When counting by item, you verify information related to items on a count list. Count by location to verify the contents of warehouse locations. You can add stock points to the count as required, when counting by location.

Two transactions allow the operator to perform these actions:.

Counting by Item is the Cycle Count
Counting by Location is the Physical Inventory

Once the counts have taken place, the standard Infor LN processing is required to process the counted quantities and adjust the inventory levels.
