Task Details

Use this form to view the details of a production order operation.

Click a task on the Active Task Lists form and Dispatch List form to access this form. The various tabs on the form display the production order operation details, material data, documents linked to the operation and so on.

Note: 
  • The Start option is displayed only if the operation is initiated. The Machine and Setup fields are displayed only if the resource group is associated with a machine and requires setup.
  • The Stop option is displayed if the operation is initiated.
  • The Start or Stop option is disabled when the user with Supervisor role is logged in.

Use the Overview tab to:

  • View the different steps associated with the task.
  • View the steps with instructions and the associated tasks.
  • Select the Complete check box to mark a step as complete.
  • Click on the step to view the details and open the Step Info tab.

Use the Step Info tab to:

  • View the related instructions and results for each step
  • View any text associated with the step by clicking on the Information option (if displayed).

    Specify test results by clicking on the appropriate test.

Use the Routing tab to view:

  • the list of operations for the order and the status where the list of operations is displayed in numerical sequence.
  • operation details such as the task and work center, item quantities ordered, completed, rejected and outstanding.

Use the Resources tab to:

  • View the resources (operators and/or machines) assigned to the selected operation, description and resource ID.
  • Click Assignment option to access the Supervisor’s Task Assignment form.
    Note: The Assignments option is enabled, only when the user with Supervisor role is logged in.

Use the Materials tab to:

  • View the item details that can be issued for the operation. This data is defaulted from the integrated ERP application.
    Note: This form is disabled if the ERP Available parameter is not selected.
  • Access the Issue Material Form using the Issue New Materials or Issue option.
  • Issue the material required for the production order using Issue option.
  • Return the previously issued material of the production order to the inventory of a warehouse, using the Return option.

Use the Documents tab to:

  • View the documents related to the selected operation. This data is defaulted from IDM for each task.
  • View the details in a full screen mode using the FULLSCREEN option.

Use the Report Quantity tab to:

  • View the quantities reported for the operation.
  • Accept the item quantity using the Accept option.
  • Reject the item quantity using the Reject option.
    Note: You must select a reason code in the Reject Reason Code pane that is displayed when the Reject option is clicked.
  • Dispose the previously rejected quantities using the Dispose option.
    Note: 
    • This option is displayed only if the Support Disposition Reporting check box is selected on the Shopfloor Parameters form and the operation has outstanding rejected items.
    • When this option is clicked the Disposition pane is displayed where in you can specify the details related to the rejected quantities that are disposed.
  • Specify the number of lots if the item is lot-controlled and the Management form allows to specify multiple lots.
  • Note: 
    • The Report option is disabled when the user with Supervisor role is logged in or if the task is not an active production order operation.
    • Stop the job using the Stop option after specifying the quantity to be reported.
    • The Complete ? field is displayed only when the Allow Entry of Complete Flag check box is selected in the Report Inventory parameter on the Transaction Set Maintenance form.
    • The Complete? field is set to No by default. You can only stop a job if the Complete? field is modified to Yes. This field is automatically set to Yes once the value is specified.
    • Select the Reversal check box to reset the reported quantities.

Use the Serial Match tab to:

  • Scan the serial number, the lot number and the component item number.
    Note: 
    • This tab is enabled if the ERP Available parameter is selected.
    • The data is enabled based on the component characteristics.
    • If specifying serial number is mandatory, the value 1 is defaulted in the Quantity field. Otherwise, the operator can scan the lot number and specify a value in the Quantity field manually.
Use the By-Product tab to report the product against the order.
Note: To implement this functionality, you must enable this feature (RS8875B) on the Feature Management form.
