Using the Search Balance ID Screen
Use this screen to search for balance IDs with receiving number to put away.

To search for balance IDs to put away, specify a value in the Search field, specify filter criteria, or both. In the Search field, you can scan a location, item number, lot number, container, or receiving number. To specify filter criteria, specify values in one or more of these filter fields:
- Location
- Scan the location.
- Item
- Scan the item number.
- Lot
- Scan the lot number.
- Container
- Scan the container.
- Receiving no
- Scan the receiving number.

Select Next to run the search. The search is automatically run when
you scan a value in the Search field.
The transaction searches for balance IDs based on the sequence specified in the Search field search sequence parameter. Search results are limited by the data in the filter fields. For example, if the search sequence is set to search first the locations, then items, and then lots, and you specify value A in the Item filter field, and then scan the value B in the Search field, the search first looks for the balance IDs with location B and item A. Then searches for balance IDs with lot B and item A. The search is not done for balance IDs with an item value of B because you specified A in the Item filter field. The result is displayed if the search finds one or more matches.
Only balance IDs containing values that match the specified search criteria are found. The No match found message is displayed if the search items are not found. The balance ID is automatically selected from the results and displayed on the Report screen, or the search results are displayed on the List Balance ID screen.
