Using the Receive Package Screen

Use this screen to report the receipt of a package.

Note:  To use this screen, the Package Staging parameter, parameter 22 in CRS780 (M3 Settings - Purchasing), must be turned on.
  1. Specify or review this information:
    Package
    The package number is displayed.
    To Location
    Specify a destination for the package you are receiving. Depending upon the configured parameters, this value can be automatically specified and confirmed.
  2. Select Next to report the receipt of the package. Depending upon the parameter settings, the receipt can be reported automatically when you confirm values in all required fields. The receipt of the PO packages comprises these sequential activities:
    • The package is reported as Staged. Delivery note is received
    • The entire ASN that is connected to the package is received. When the Package Staging parameter is selected in M3, receiving a full ASN only receives staged packages, so only the scanned package is received.
    • The package is reported as put away. The message Package received and putaway is displayed

    After these activities are reported, the Search screen is displayed and the application provides a message; Package received.
