Using the List Phys Inv Screen

Use this screen to select a physical inventory record to count. Physical inventories that contain one or more uncounted lines with a recount number of 0 are listed. The list is sorted by the date the physical inventories are scheduled to be counted. Physical inventories with the most urgent count dates are listed first. Depending upon how you configure the Auto Select First Record parameter, the first physical inventory displayed in the list might be automatically selected. In this case, this screen is skipped.

  1. Scan a physical inventory number to filter the list by that value. If you filter the list, and only one result is displayed, that physical inventory record will be automatically selected if the Auto Select First Record parameter has a value of 2.
  2. Select a physical inventory record. This information is displayed for each available physical inventory:
    • number of days until the planned count date
    • number of lines
    • physical inventory name
    • physical inventory number
  3. Click Select. The Search Phys Inv Line screen is displayed.
