Using the Update Putaway Task screen

Use this screen to update the putaway tasks selected in the previous screen.

On the Update Putaway Task screen:

  1. Select the input fields.
  2. Specify values in these fields in the predefined sequential order:
    1: Location
    The name of the location. The user can specify the location or use the Browse button to select the location.
    Note: This value is based on the selection criteria of the putaway task and the setting of the staged field:
    1. If only one putaway task is selected, the Staged field is 0 and the Suggest data for input field Location parameter can be used.
    2. If only putaway task is selected, the Staged field is 1 and the Suggest data for input field Location for staged putaway parameter can be used.
    3. If all the putaway tasks are selected, the Staged field is 1 and the Suggest data for input field Location for staged putaway parameter can be used.
    4. If all the putaway tasks are selected, the Staged field is 0 and the Suggest data for input field Location parameter can be used.
    5: Quantity
    The quantity of the item. If all the putaway tasks are selected in the List Putaway Task screen, the Quantity field is disabled.
    6: Staged
    The user can set this field to Yes or No.
  3. Review these information fields:
    2: Item
    The item (s) is displayed based on the option you select in the List Putaway Task screen.
    • If you click Select on the List Putaway Tasks screen, only the items related to the selected putaway task are displayed.
    • If you click Select All on the List Putaway Tasks screen, the items common to all the putaway tasks are displayed.
    • Else, *Multi* is defaulted in the Item field.
    3: Lot
    The lot is displayed based on the option selected in the List Putaway Task screen.
    • If you click Select on the List Putaway Tasks screen, only the lot related to the selected putaway task is displayed.
    • If you click Select All on the List Putaway Tasks screen, the lots common to all the putaway tasks are displayed.
    • Else, *Multi* is defaulted in the Lot field.
    4: Container
    The containers are displayed based on the option selected in the List Putaway Task screen.
    • If you click Select on the List Putaway Tasks screen, only the containers related to the selected putaway task are displayed.
    • If you click Select All on the List Putaway Tasks screen, the containers common to all the putaway tasks are displayed.
    • Else, *Multi* is defaulted in the Container field.
  4. Click Next, after all the fields are confirmed. The List Putaway Tasks screen opens and the Putaway task updated message is displayed.
