Parameters Overview
Use the Infor Factory Track parameters forms to customize the application to meet the specific needs of your organization. There are two types of parameters forms:
- : This form is only used by programmers who are authorized to customize your application. It defines what transaction parameter settings are available.
- : You can use these forms to configure the behavior of the application and its individual transactions.
Transactions Setup Form
Caution:
Only programmers who are authorized to customize your application
should use the Transactions Setup form. Changes made to this form can cause your
application to function incorrectly.
The Transactions Setup form is used to determine what transactions are available in the application. This form can be used to add custom transactions to your parameter management system. You can also create transaction profiles on this form and define parameters and default parameter values for those transactions.
Parameter Settings Forms
Use the parameter settings forms to configure the behavior of the application and its individual transactions. These parameter settings forms are available for the application:
- Transaction Profiles: Use this form to create and modify transaction profiles. You can use transaction profiles to define specific transaction parameter configurations for different users, groups of users, or business objectives.
- Profile Parameter Maintenance: Use this form to configure parameters for transaction profiles.
