Price floor and ceiling

EzRMS optimizes a price value for each room category to capture the highest revenue opportunity. The price range available for optimization is defined in the Price Floor and Ceiling screen. The floor is the lowest price that can be optimized by the engine and the ceiling is the highest price that EzRMS can recommend for a room category. The floor and ceiling must be defined for each room category for the full forecast horizon of the property. You can define different floor and ceiling by period or day of week, depending on the pricing structure of each property.

The screen shows these details:

Room Category:
The room category that the floor and ceiling definition applies to. All room categories should have a floor and ceiling definition.
From:
The start date of the period for which the floor and ceiling apply to.
To:
The end date of the period for which the floor and ceiling apply to.
DOW:
The days of week for which the definition applies to. The field can be empty. In this case, the definition applies to all days of week.
Floor:
The lowest price that can be optimized by EzRMS for the room category.
Ceiling:
The highest price that can be optimized by EzRMS for the room category.
