Manage Messages

Note: The TFSDataManager role is required to enable users to delete, re-validate or set status to Error on the Manage Messages page. The capabilities of the TFSDataManager role are automatic for any users assigned the roles of AE-Administrator or AE-TFSAdmin.

On the Manage Messages page, you can view and check the transformations and the message exchange.

You can validate or delete a message depending on the status of the message.

You can also export the manage messages using the Export option. The application exports the data to a CSV file that is packaged in a ZIP file.

Note: 
  • If you select check boxes corresponding to the messages, the application exports the selected messages.
  • If the check boxes are cleared, the application exports the messages on the current page.

The exported CSV file contains these columns:

  • Row Number
  • Creation Date
  • Trading Partner
  • Receiver ID
  • Sender ID
  • Document ID
  • Transmission Reference No.
  • Message Standard
  • Message Type
  • Message Status
  • Error Log
  • Application Advice Received
  • Functional Acknowledgment Status
  • Publishing Frequency
  • Message Direction
  • Style Sheet Name
  • Message Sequence Number
  • Import Message Sequence Number
  • Accounting Entity

  • Created By
  • Last Update User
  • Last Update Date

You can click and hold the three-dot icon on the column header and drag the column to the required position.

You can use the Personalize Columns option from the More… menu and personalize (hide or unhide, or reorder the column header to the required position) the columns.

You can reset the columns order to default using the Reset Columns Order option from the More… menu.

To search for messages, specify filter criteria in the field entries of the required columns.

To view the detail settings, click the Drill down button of a message.
