Exporting partner IDs

You can export the partner ID data of your environment to an XML file in the export folder. Use the export file to import the data to a different environment. For example, migrate the partner ID data from the test environment to the production environment.

You can filter the partner ID data to export by accounting entity. The export file contains partner ID header data and the mapping data of internal and external codes.

To export partner IDs:

Select Transformation Services > Configuration > Export Partner IDs.
Specify this information:

Accounting Entity

Click the Lookup button of the field and select one or multiple accounting entities from the list. The accounting entity is, for example, the identification for a company. If you select special accounting entities, the partner ID data that is stored for the selected accounting entities is exported. If you do not select an accounting entity, all data is exported to the XML export file.

Note: The export file is stored in the default folder, or a custom folder, if specified during the installation. In an automotive environment, the default folder is AUTOCONNECT_HOME\tfs\export.
To export the partner ID data, click Export.
The exported XML data is shown in the Export Result text box.
