Creating an AS2 partner DSN inbound
- Select COMMUNICATION > Partner Management.
- Edit an AS2 partner.

In the DSN
Inbound area, click New.
A DSN named 'Unnamed DSN' is created.

Specify the information in the General DSN Details dialog. The available fields depend on the
selected connection type.
- DSN
- Specify a data set name. This way, the complete set of information can be assigned to a send request.
- Description
- Specify a description of the data set name.

On the AS2 tab, specify this
information.
- Own AS2 ID
- This field shows your AS2 ID.
- File name
- This field shows the file name inside the AS2 package.
- Subject
- This field shows the subject of the AS2 message.
- From
- Specify your sender identification.
- Receive System
- The receive systems that are assigned to routing are displayed. If no receive system is selected, all the available systems will be used for routing.

On the Certificates tab, specify this
information:
- Encryption
- Specify the encryption algorithm for this partner.
- Signing
- Specify the signing algorithm for this partner.
- MDN Signing
- Select whether MDN signing is expected.

On the Extended
settings tab, specify this information:
- Add on Header
- Click New to create an additional HTTP header and specify a name and a value. HTTP headers are attached when the message is sent.
- Conversion
- Specify the conversion to be performed by Exchange Services before transmission.
- These options are available: None, ASCII to EBCDIC, EBCDIC to ASCII.
- Subsequent processing
- Click Add to specify the type of processing.
Processing type - Routing program: one or more routing programs
- HTTP: one or more HTTP sub processes
- Forwarding to External: one or more forwarding sub processes
- EDX: one or more EDX sub processes
Category name Select the category name from the list or specify a new category name manually. Categories that are inserted manually are added to the drop-down list.
- Click OK.
