Configuring layer calculation

When a shipment is received, you can configure that the number of layers is calculated and attached to the customer container number. See the Number of Singles per Layer field in Configuring Packaging Information.

To configure the layer calculation:

  1. Select Administrative Functions > Manage Codes.
  2. Click Drill down to edit a Customers or TradingPartners code.
  3. Click Edit.
  4. In the Code List Properties table, click Drill down for the customer or trading partner you want to edit.
  5. Specify this information:
    Pattern for formatting customer container type
    Specify No. of Layers to Add.
