Configuring the carrier interface

To use the carrier interface, you must configure the CarrierInterfaceTypes code. This code contains the available carrier interfaces, such as UPS, GLS, or DPD. For each entry in the CarrierInterfaceTypes code, there is a code list called CarrierVariantstype. type is the name of the carrier. This code list shows the variants offered by the carrier, for example, cash on delivery.

If you use the carrier interface that is delivered with the system, then you must adjust these settings: Configure the exchange folder, specify the default service variant, and add the default carrier interface. If you do not use the delivered carrier interface, then you must add a carrier interface.
