Manage Logs

On this page, you can manually change the log level of the application services and their log files and download these log files.

The page shows a list of files that contains all files of the directory AUTOCONNECT_HOME\tomcat\log that match .log, .txt, .text, or various types of .zip file extensions.

On this page, you can perform these tasks:

  • Manually change the log level of a service. Expand Manage Log Levels. Select a service from the Service drop-down list and a log level from the Log Level drop-down list. Click Change Log Level. The dialog box Change Log Level prompts you to cancel or confirm the change. Click OK. The log level of the service changes. The new log level is shown in the log level field of the selected service and in the log files.
  • Download log files from a service. Select the files from the list and click Download. A .zip file named AE-Logs.zip is downloaded through the browser. This .zip file contains all text files that were selected.

To search for log files, specify filter criteria in the field entries of the required columns.

Note: To access the log directory, the Manage Logs page refers to AUTOCONNECT_HOME. This reference is based on the running tomcat application properties. If this property is not found, it defaults to the directory C:\Infor\AutomotiveExchange\Tomcat\logs. AUTOCONNECT_HOME may be set up differently on a local machine. If AUTOCONNECT_HOME is found, but is an incorrect directory, the subsequent error message is shown: Parameter 'Directory' is not a directory
