Configuring default processing

  1. Select COMMUNICATION > Event Programs.
  2. On the Default Processing after Receipt tab, specify this information:
    Default processing after Receipt
If partners are created, this setting is used as the default for how received data is to be processed further.

    These are the possible values:

    • Routing
    • HTTP Adapter
    • EDX Adapter
    Subsequent Routing Program

Specify a user-specific subsequent routing program.

You can use these predefined parameters of file routing:

    • $P01: Partner, nine-digit
    • $P02: Unit, three-digit
    • $P03: Originator (sender ID)
    • $P04: Destination (receiver ID)
    • $P05: Virtual file name: the file name agreed upon
    • $P06: Complete file name including directory
    • $P07: Complete file name without directory
    • $P08: Complete file name of the info file
    • $P09: Character set: ASCII or EBCDIC
    • $P10: Identified file type, for example DELFOR, UNKNOWN or 511_512
    • $P11: Text from eurexc.ini that is assigned to the corresponding file type
    • $12: DSN Inbound, if assigned
    • $SPALTENNAME: Column of the xrfiles table, for example $N_BYTES = file length
    Timeout Routing Program (in sec.)
Specify the time in seconds that the program waits until the routing program is terminated. After this time, the routing program is terminated by force.
    Trace Routing Calls
Select this check box to write the output (stdout) of the subsequent routing program into the communication protocol.
    Default Category
This category serves as the default category when creating new incoming DSNs.
    EDX Default System/Category
This category serves as the default category when creating new incoming DSNs.
Auto Conversion from EBCDIC to ASCII for Reception Files within the EDX Adapter
Based on the identifiers listed in File Identification, EBCDIC to ASCII conversion is performed automatically when files are passed to EDX.
    File start identification
This field contains a comma-separated list of identifiers that are used in the automatic EBCDIC conversion in the EDX adapter. The automatic converter checks the received files. If one of the files starts with a sequence of this type, it is transferred one-to-one to EDX. If no character sequence can be identified, the file is converted from EBCDIC to ASCII, and the converter tries to identify the file afterwards. If the file starts with a character sequence from the list, the converted file is transferred to EDX. If it cannot be identified, the original file is transferred to EDX before it is converted.
