View dependencies

  1. On the DWD Designer, select either Data Warehouse or Designers tab.
  2. Select a BMM Object
  3. Expand and select View Dependencies.
  4. The following features are available:
    Navigation Map

    Use the navigation map (drag and drop) to navigate the diagram.

    Mouse over

    To see more details, mouse over an object.

    Immediate links

    To see all immediate links for a particular object, click on an object. Dependency lines will be highlighted in red.

    Diagram display

    Diagrams can be displayed in three options (rightmost icons located on the upper right corner):

    • Name only

    • Normal (default view)

    • Expanded

    Export

    To export the image directly to a Microsoft Word document, click on the icon (first icon on the upper right corner).

    Note: 

    The image can also be exported as an image file.

    Compile

    To compile, right-click on an object.

    User-defined codes

    For objects that have an existing user-defined codes, icon(s) placed on the lower part of the object will be displayed for quick view.

    Status warning

    Status warning are displayed on the upper right corner of the object:

    • Created (Green)

    • Pending (Orange)

    • Locked Pending (Red)
