Creating a cube rule

Note: If a cube rule conflicts with existing OLAP logic, a warning is displayed. Adjust the rule to resolve the conflict.
  1. Select Dashboards > OLAP > Edit Database.
  2. Select the cube in which to create the rule and click Rules.
  3. Click the plus icon (+) and select Add new rule.
  4. Optionally, specify a name and a description.
    By default, rules are named Rule [n] where n is a sequential number.
  5. Specify whether the rule affects all cells, only consolidated cells, or only base cells.
  6. Specify the target of the rule.
  7. Specify the formula of the rule.

    Double-click objects in the Object browser, the Elements pane, and the Functions pane to add references to those objects to the formula.
