Setting a perspective and application context in a report

  1. On Financial Reporting's Home page, select a report.
  2. In the report, click Change Perspective and/or Application Context.
  3. In the Perspective and Application Context dialog box, specify this information:
    Perspective
    Select a perspective.
    Entity
    Select an entity. Only entities that have been configured in Business Modeling are available.
    Reporting period
    Select a period.
    Reporting version
    Select a version.
    Comparison version
    Select a comparison version.
  4. Click Apply.
  5. To filter perspectives, in the Perspective field, click the search list icon.
  6. In the Select Perspective dialog box, click the filter options icon.
  7. In the Filter dialog box select perspective context drivers. The default configuration set is preselected.
    If there are no existing perspectives for the combination of selected filter options, the 0 perspectives available message is displayed. In this case, change the filter options selection.
  8. Click Apply.
