Creating a custom application in EPM Administration

  1. Sign in to EPM Administration.
  2. On the Applications page, click Create.
  3. Specify this information:
    Name
    Specify the name of the custom application.
    Unique Name
    Specify the unique name of the custom application, for example, cst_CustomJumps.
    Description
    Optionally, specify the description of the custom application.
    Capabilities
    Select all available options.
  4. Click Create.
    The created custom application is displayed in the list on the Applications page.
  5. Select Dashboards > Applications Administration > Data Connections.
  6. In the Application field, select the newly created custom application.
  7. Select the custom application in the grid.
  8. On the General tab in the Data Connection Details section, specify this information:
    Name
    Replace the name of the custom application with EPM.
    Unique Name
    Replace the unique name of the custom application with DEPM.
  9. Click the Connection tab and specify this information:
    Data Connection
    Select EPM.

    The EPM Business Applications->EPM data connection is displayed.

  10. Click Test Connection to verify whether the established data connection works.
  11. Click the Usage tab and ensure that all check boxes are selected.
  12. Click Save.
  13. In the Data Connections section, select EPM Business Applications in the Application field.
  14. Select the Infor EPM application in the grid.
  15. In the Data Connection Details section, click the Usage tab and ensure that the newly created custom application is connected to Infor EPM.
  16. Select Dashboards > User and Permission Management > Users, Groups and Roles and assign all possible application roles for the custom application to the user.
