Scaling and Decimals

The scaling and decimal settings in the Trend & Projection report help present financial data clearly and consistently. Those settings are inherited from the C-Suite dashboard's selected metrics. You can adjust the settings within the report for deeper analysis. For example, if you select the Operating Profit metrics scaled in millions (M) in the metrics table, then all values in the Trend & Projection report are displayed in millions, regardless of their actual magnitude. You can override those settings in the report.

These pre-defined options are available:

• No Scaling
• 1,000 Scaling
• 1,000,000 Scaling
• 1,000,000,000 Scaling

By default, values are displayed with one decimal place based on the standard rounding, but you can configure up to 8 decimal places in the report.
