Usage and example

This example describes how to create a report and configure the Markdown Viewer to edit and view a text in the Markdown format.

  1. Create an Application Studio report with the Markdown Viewer name.
  2. Create a report variable with the Text name.
  3. Create a report variable with the Print name.
  4. Create a report variable with the Copy name.
  5. In the Properties - Report pane, set the Immediate Writeback option to Automatic.
  6. Select row 5, right-click it, and select Rows.
  7. In the Row Properties dialog box, select the Allow Growth and Allow Shrinkage check boxes.
  8. Select columns B and D, right-click them. and select Columns.
  9. In the Column Properties dialog box, select the Allow Growth and Allow Shrinkage check boxes.
  10. Add a shared image for printing with the Print name.
  11. Add a shared image for copy to clipboard with the Copy name.
  12. Set the A1:E8 cell range to Visible Report Area.
