In Application Studio, formulas can be entered directly into cells, selected in the Insert Function dialog or you can use the Edit OLAP Formula dialog. The Edit OLAP Formula dialog offers these key types of formula: Cell Values, Cell notes, Cell properties, Slice values, Relational values, Attributes and KPI (Key Performance Indicator) formulas. If you open the Edit OLAP Formula dialog and click OK, without making any further selections, a CELLGET formula is created. CELLGET is a cell values formula. You create other formulas by selecting a formula type and selecting other options in the dialog, such as Allow writeback.
