Overview of data integration for business modeling-based Workforce Budgeting

Workforce Budgeting integration supports metadata transfer from a source system through an integration database, via Infor d/EPM Platform application processes into the Infor d/EPM business applications database.

During the standard data integration process, relational modeling is used to prepare, validate, and load source metadata into the integration database prior to loading data into the Infor d/EPM business applications database.

This checklist describes the tasks that must be completed before you can load data:

Component Task
d/EPM Administration Configure roles and permissions.
Business Modeling Complete these tasks:
  • Publish the Workforce Budgeting schema.
  • Activate the Workforce Budgeting module.
  • Activate business objects (dimensions).
  • Verify that the minimum configuration is complete (calendar, currency, entity, account are set).
