SQL view

The data in a cube is exposed as a denormalized fact table. Values are stored into one or more Measure columns while other dimensions are encoded as separate columns. Each base element of the dimension is an element of those columns. For example, the dimensions are Regions and Products. Units and Sales are members of the Measure dimension.
