Integration database
Business Modeling processes then load the data from the integration database into the business applications. You then use Business Modeling to complete the configuration and modeling of the business applications.
The integration database is called d/EPM Integration. It has a predefined structure, which is owned by Business Modeling and cannot be altered in Relational modeling. But you can use Business Modeling to add custom properties to business objects. In this case, the integration tables are automatically extended with additional columns for loading values for custom properties.
In d/EPM Integration, you can create load queries to load data from Staging tables, Data Lake, or other sources into integration tables.
Refer to the source system integration guides for guidance on data transfer queries.
