Organizations
Typically, organizations represent cost centers. A cost center can reflect an organizational structure of any type within an accounting unit. A cost center can contain departments, for example.
In Infor d/EPM, organizations are often used for approvals in the hierarchical workflow.
This table shows the business applications in which the use of business data from the Organizations business object is required:
