Setting the state of a target dashboard

If the target dashboard contains two or more widgets that communicate, you can specify the state of the target dashboard.

To set the state of a target dashboard requires the unique name of a widget communication connection and a valid value for that connection.

Create a Jump to dashboard action.
In the Define Action dialog, select Add parameter > Add parameter connection.
Specify the name of the parameter connection.
The name must match the name that is displayed in the Connection Properties dialog in Dashboards.
Specify the value for the parameter connection.
This is used when the dashboard is launched by the Jump to dashboard action.
