Recursive check-in and check-out

By default, checking out or checking in a folder does not check out or in the reports within it.

If you enable prompts on check-in, and check-out, you can specify whether the check in or check out is recursive. That is, when you check in or check out a folder, the reports within it are also check ed in our out.

If you delete a report or folder, it disappears from your report tree. It disappears from the report tree of other users only after the deleted report or folder has been checked in. We recommend that you keep reports checked out until you have tested and verified your changes.

Note: Always use recursive check-in on a folder if reports or folders below it have been deleted.
